OOTD + new piercings

Hi there!! :)

I hope you started the new year fresh, with good resolutions and new ideas.

This is my yesterday OOTD, simple and casual. I was laughing because my cats kept coming in front of the camera :) The one in this picture is Bimba.

All Penneys, except for the boots that I bought in Italy.

Swatch: a gift from my father for my last birthday
Skulls bracelet: a present from my hubby (if you live in Dublin, he bought it at St. Stephen Green Centre)

Simple eye make-up, using the UD 15th Anniversary palette.

And here they are, my new two helix piercings.
I did them at WildCat Ink in St. Stephen Green Centre and a post about piercings is coming.

Have a nice day!!

OOTD + Lush Haul + macarons

Sorry, I always have a weird face when I take pictures for the outfit of the day...anyway....

Fake leather jacket: Penneys
Scarf, Skirt and Boots: from Italy, a present from my mum
Pink Top: Penneys

Bracelet:  Rebecca Gioielli (www.rebecca.it), a present from my granny
Swatch: Strawberry Switchblade, Summer 2011 collection, a present from my father
Fish Ring: Forever 21
Nail Polish: Clio for PUPA collection, colour 903

I was just back from Italy, so I was wearing a lots of gifts from my parents and relatives :)

Last Saturday we went to Lush ^__^
I stopped using their products 2 years ago, because they made my skin too dry, but sometimes I'd like to buy some bath bomb.

My hubby bought a piece of Karma soap and the jelly Sweetie Pie (it smells of cherry, soooo good!)
I saw the Magic Wand bubble bar on some blogs so I had to buy it! I also bought Rocketeer and Phoenix Rising bath bombs.
It's Raining Men shower gel (it has the same smell of Honey I Washed the Kids soap) and my favourite shampoo, Daddy-o. I know I shouldn't have bought it, because it makes my hair really dry, so I'll try to use it once in a while, but it's the only shampoo that makes my hair smell good, for days. Others shampoo perfumes last only a couple of minutes on me.

Macarons ^__^
I friend of mine kept telling me to try macarons, so I bought them when I saw a Ladurée shop in Brown Thomas. They are the most delicious little cakes I ever ate.
I saw an Irish shop in the city centre that also sells macarons and other handmade sweets, but they aren't as good as the original Ladurée.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Bird And Whale by Rosie and Me

I like Michelle Phan's videos not only because she is great, but also for the soundtracks and the musicians she makes me discover....

Oh babe don't you know
Don't you want something to go home to?
You've been hurt for far too long
And your bed has the shape of your wounds

It's two against the world but we'll be brave
I thank God for the day I heard your name

Our hearts work like an engine
Steady we remain
Pulsing from the distance
But the sound is nice and clear
Don't go
Just stay right here

Oh darling can't you see
What's in store for you is the sea
I'm an island far from the coast
Your embrace is the only thing I know

It's two against the world but we'll be brave
I thank God for the day I heard your name

Our hearts work like an engine
Steady we remain
Pulsing from the distance
But the sound is nice and clear
Don't go
Just stay right here

best crêperie in Dublin - Fafie's

Last month we went to Fafie's, which serves authentic French-style crêpes in the middle of Dublin.

We didn't know this place, because it is close to the city centre, but not in the shopping area, where we usually go.

(click to the map to extend it)

The place is small, but really nice and friendly, with a great service.
I've noticed that the menu on the website is smaller compared to the one we saw in the crêperie. There are lots sweet and savoury crêpes, with a long list of vegetarian ones. They also give the option to make your own creation.
The ingredients are mostly, if not all, organic and fair trade.

Just top your crêpe off with a cappuccino and this is the perfect place for the cold season! We'll come back there really soon!!

A quick OOTD

Tee: Topshop
Necklace: I bought it from a little shop in Leinster St (or Nassau St) in Dublin, for only 2 euros, I'm really happy :)

Outfit of the day + new Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner

Hi everybody!!
Just a quick post to show you my outfit of the day and my new purchase from Urban Decay.

Jumper: Crafted (republic.co.uk) from the new collection, so you can still found it in stores
Grey t-shirt: Penneys
Shorts: H&M
Boots: New Look
Bag: Elite Models' Fashion

Blush: Inglot (I don't know the number)
Lips: Kiko Pencil Lip Gloss 10

For the eyes I used the new Urban Decay palette 15th anniversary.

Today I visited the Urban Decay counter because I was curious about their new 24/7 waterproof liquid eyeliners, mostly for the pink one.

Well, I ended up buying Woodstoock because it's a super gorgeous pink and it really gives the eyes a pop of colour. The girl at the counter showed me also the other colours and I bought Siren, a dark teal that I'm going to wear a lot during this autumn.

For all the swaches and the pictures, I'll redirect you to Temptalia's blog.

Earl Necklace and Japanese Sunday Lunch

A while ago I partecipated to Mutsumi's Giveaway and I was one of the two lucky winners ^__^
I'm so happy, because I'm not usually that lucky with giweaways!!

My prize was a super cute and funny Earl Necklace from KoolKatKustom.com.

It's a cat (I loooove cats) and it has mustaches like Earl from my favourite tv commedy "My name is Earl". It's perfect!

Then, for my makeup, I used the colour Deep End from the new Urban Decay Palette 15th Annyversary. I'll write a review about it soon.

Today we had lunch in one of my favourite Japanese restaurant, Wagamama.
I had a yasai cha han (stir-fried rice with tofu, mushrooms, mangetout....) and a miso soup, while my hubby had a yasai katsu curry (rice + slices of fried sweet potato, butternut squash and aubergine with a curry sauce). Delicious!!!

Hope you had a great weekend!! ^__^

pink hair ^__^

Quick post. It was my birthday last week and my parents came to Ireland to visit me, so I was pretty busy.

I want only to show you my new hair ^__^

A friend of mine sent this wig to me as a joke, because I told her that I like pink hair and she said that I'm too old for it.
Well, at the end I was right and I really liked my pink hair :)
